Terms of service

Yummy Quote is a widget that asks your website visitors a few questions and emails them an estimate based on the prices you set. You receive their details as a lead. Estimates are guides to start a conversation, not binding offers or contracts. Any agreement about work, prices or payment is between you and your client.

• You need a valid email address to sign in. Keep access to that inbox secure, because sign-in links are sent there.

• You’re responsible for everything done through your account.

• You must be at least 16, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Yummy Quote currently offers a Free plan with the limits shown on our pricing page, including a monthly quote limit and a cap on estimate amounts. Free widgets show a “Powered by Yummy Quote” link. When paid plans become available, their prices and terms will be shown before you subscribe, and you’ll never be charged without signing up for one.

• You own your questions, prices and branding. You give us permission to store and display them only so we can run the widget for you.

• You’re responsible for your prices and estimates being accurate, and for following the laws that apply to your business.

• You’re responsible for how you use your visitors’ details. Tell your visitors how you handle their information, for example in your own privacy notice. We handle visitor details as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Only add the widget to websites you own or are allowed to manage.

Please don’t use Yummy Quote to:

• send spam, mislead visitors or collect information under false pretences;

• offer illegal, harmful or deceptive products or services;

• disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service;

• impersonate someone else or use a website you don’t control.

We may pause or remove widgets or accounts that break these rules or put the service or other people at risk.

We work to keep Yummy Quote running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, including email delivery. We may change, improve or remove features over time. If a change significantly affects you, we’ll tell you in advance when we can.

You can stop using Yummy Quote at any time by removing the widget from your site and asking us to close your account. We may close accounts that break these terms. When an account is closed, its widget stops working and its data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Yummy Quote is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, including that estimates will lead to bookings or income.

To the extent the law allows, Yummy Quote won’t be liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost clients or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you haven’t paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

We may update these terms as Yummy Quote grows. We’ll update the date at the top of this page and email creators about significant changes. If you keep using Yummy Quote after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
